The Dosha Life
Mondays Meditation is on Brah...oh, lets just call it Boundaries!
Show Notes Transcript

This week is about boundaries, and learning to keep boundered for your own sake.

Brhamcharya translates as chastity, but I see it translating as circling the wagons, and keeping true to yourself first, before we offer to others in whatever fashion.

We set out with ahimsa, allowing love and kindness to guide us in our interactions with ourselves first and then others, and we add truthfulness so we can shed a light in the dark, adn remember as often as we can, that we truly  are enough, we do not need more of what another has, but we need to find what we are missing within...and as we do that we come to find that we may expend energy to get what we feel we need and tire ourselves needlessly - boundary as we come to our own dwelling place - the second chakra resonating here -

In the next few bare moments what do you feel in this boundary of your own life’s body?

Thank you for joining me

With Kelly Marie Mills with Yoga Ayurveda Living and The Dosha Life podcast...

Finding this week we could remind ourselves when we can have boundaries…

Although taking a word a week from a calendar is just as helpful….

I do love the challenge of bringing inspiration into my life as a little side motivation- for the wibbly wobbly moments when I think...what just happened ?

And then I remember a word like patience, or kindness and I reframe my thoughts around whatever it is ..or at least try to ..

So will we run with that theme?

Yah, I agree too…

It can be good and fun…

Yoga is full to the brim of such wisdom, as we look at brahmacharya

To be chaste, seems a bit ..harsh?

Brahamcharya is asking us to refrain from overdoing it in activities that could deplete our Prana, but especially to be active in activities that create prana.

Brahjamacharya wants us to live in all the good stuff of life! To to take life in hesitation, but to enjoy it to the full but to navigate our embrace of life with grace

Gracious activity is kind, compassion, thought full - and we are ..aren’t we?

Unless we get riled up...and even just private conversations in our mind..all of a sudden we see a leaf blowing on the road, and it reminds of something that happened the other day, and we are right back in the fur or of all that drama and holy smokes, before you know it...we are having an argument in our mind…

Yah, that's the opposite of what we seek….so to the crown of your head -

Breath in and out and visualise your body like a flask

You inhale drawing breath up the front and back of your body, and exhale allow the breath to flow down from the crown of you head, to flow into the inner skull, the inner container of your body, the shell of this body...every exhales draws the breath a little further down the flask of this body,

Every inhale draws up the front and back of your body, adn as you exhale, you see all the parts your exhale touches become shimmer light of silver and gold inside this body

Head

Neck shoulder

Arms and hands

Rib cage and upper back

Belly and lower back

Front and back pelvis

Down both your legs

And into you feet

Pooling into your feet

As you inhale its as if your breathing is swishing the liquid energy of breath inside your body

And as you exhale you expand the energy a little further into the cells of your body into your deepest organs and cells and dhatu, up a dhatu, doshas, sub doshas, srotas and channels of prana and love and kindness and all reheat today for you to be filled up with your own lightness of being…

Being here, being you, in all our body boundaries, feel the respect you give to yourself as you sit and breathe and care how you are and breath and smile and feel how you are filled with a blended  gold and silver shimmering light of silence and space

Thank you for joining me, Kelly Marie Mills with Yoga Ayurveda Living and The Dosha Life podcast in our own boundary
